UBL is Redefining Safety and Sustainability

As an EHS Officer at Uganda Baati, my role focuses on legal compliance, environmental sustainability, employee training, and workplace safety. I ensure adherence to local and international safety regulations, implement a waste-to-value program that repurposes wire dust, and conduct risk assessments to improve safety, reducing injuries by 86% in 2024. I also drive safety awareness through training and partnerships. Our future goals include enhancing safety reporting, expanding sustainability efforts, and continuing to support key projects like the Total Energies initiative.
